Dr. Pacifico has spent more than 2 decades honing her skills in school leadership. She has expertise in philanthropy, recruitment, mentoring and coaching school leaders. Currently a coach for the School Leadership Program at Harvard University Graduate School of Education, she oversees the ongoing learning and development of future school leaders.  

 

 Dr. Pacifico is the CEO of Pacifico Educational Consultants. Vittoria also has noted expertise in strategic planning, with her strategic plans serving as models for New England schools. She has had a long career educating tomorrow’s future leaders in the roles of middle school teacher, vice principal, principal, and most recently, president. At the university level, Vittoria was an adjunct professor at Regis College in the Master of Education Program and she has been a guest lecturer for doctoral students at the University of Massachusetts Boston.

In addition to her local and national work, Vittoria has experience in the international arena. As a school leader, she led international philanthropic initiatives and she facilitated recruitment of international students from China, Italy, and Switzerland.  She also led her domestic students on academic experiences abroad.

Professionally, Vittoria has been involved with many organizations and boards, including affiliations with ASCD, NAESP, NCEA, and the Rhode Island Foundation. With the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), she has served as commission member and chairperson for New England schools (Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island). She has participated in school accreditations including joining the NEASC international visit to Rome to discuss accreditation procedures. Vittoria has been a board member for Regis College, Malden Catholic High School, C.A.S.IT (Italian Consulate Educational Program) and Archbishop Williams High School. Vittoria has been invited to be a speaker for several organizations and conferences. She has given talks at the annual meeting and conference for NEASC, the Diocese of Boston, and the Lynch Foundation. Vittoria’s life-long work in leadership, both in schools and in her community, was recognized by the National Organization of Italian American Women who honored her with the “Three Wise Women” award in 2015.

Vittoria earned her Doctorate in Urban Education, Leadership, and Policy at the University of Massachusetts Boston. She earned her Master of Education in School Administration from Emmanuel College and her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Regis College
